Safe and excellent selection for budget travelers. Hotel is nice but my room is not ok as no ac next to bed, no power sockets, no proper lighting, no room service and no proper amenities but good price and location is perfect

This is the worst place we have ever stayed at in the Lauderdale area. The bathroom was disgusting, from the 1960s, and hasn't been touched since. Mold, caulking falling apart and a disgusting vanity that was ready for the garbage bin. No hangers for the clothes rack, no cups for the coffee maker, the floors made our feet black within the first two minutes. Good thing it was only for a 1-night stay. The office was also scheduled to open at 0930, the staff decided to show up after 1000, delaying our check out.

There was no one there to check us in at 4:00pm. Had to call. Our room was so old and beat up. The so called kitchen was truly disgusting. They need to update their pictures on line or update their rooms.

Not the best room experience.
The hotel is on a busy road. So, road noise. Took showers around 5pm and there was just luke warm water. I asked for hand towels and they said they had none. Bathroom was really run down. They knob for the shower would turn 360 degrees. They did have a pool and the walk to the beach was a few minutes. I probably would not stay here again.

The pictures don't look like the room in person. The lamps were moldy. Bathroom had ants. The pool was moggy. Not clean or clear water. Pictures were photoshopped to make it look clean and big. It wasn't either one. Worse Motel I ever seen in my life. Paid for days left after first day. Didn't feel safe at all.

Nice, no frills place a few blocks from the beach
Basic no frills, clean enough, and for the most part markedly quiet. Haitian maid was very loud outside the door on a never ending FaceTime assumably personal call at 10AM. But other than that was surprisingly quiet at night. Some coffee, even the most basic would be a nice touch in the office in the AM. I’d stay here again, but wouldn’t necessarily go out of my way to do so.

Well kept family owned business
This place was warm and welcoming. It was definitely well kept by the owner and absolutely spacious. We had the ro witg the kitchen and it helped with us making our meals. Not an issue but no one was really there for check out. I had to wait about 20 mins to get my deposit, so went for a coffee and went back. I definitely recommend this place and cant wait to come back for our next family vavation

Basic, you pay for what you get.
I booked this hotel for our stay before our cruise. We stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived just before 9pm and there was an old gentleman at front desk. When I told him that I'm checking in, he was annoyed and said, I'm about to leave. I had to give $40 deposit, give my ID to photocopy and told me which room we had. The key was already at the room. We went to the room, already tired from a full day of driving and unloaded our belongings. The room is clean, very basic. Only had 2 bath towels and no paper towels in the kitchenette. The kitchenette had microwave and stove top but only had 1 heating device that worked. There are a couple of plates and cups and only 1 set of cutlery. The fire alarm was also just dangling from the hook. They will clean your room if you request it but we opted not to. Following day, there was another younger gentleman working the front desk and he was very nice. He gave us additional towels. Positives -pool and bbq area -close to beach -walking distance to Mcdonalds and groceries -washing and drying machine Negative -no checkins after 9pm, there was someone who came 5 minutes after us, he couldnt check in and had no one to contact -music is playing during the day, can be loud -rooms are very outdated -kitchen is available but bring what you need -limited parking spots All in all, basic hotel and you pay for what you get. I like that theres a kitchenette and we felt safe in the area.

When we arrived nobody was at the front desk, had to wait for 1 hour and a half untill the “owner” showed up, he was on the phone, his attention was poor and when we finally got into our room, the AC was down, after an entire day in a very hot room when we were ready to check out, the owner wasn’t there again so I had to wait again to get my money back for the deposit and bring the keys back, terrible place, not recommended at all!!!

Location was great, right off ocean blvd and half a block from the beach. We had a late check in after hrs and they made convenient arrangements for us to check in very late. However shower drain was slow and furniture was not as updated as photographed in ad. Manager didn’t open office on time as advertised and pool was locked until 10:30 one morning. Required cash deposit for hotel room key. Overall not a bad place for the highly sought location, but don’t expect superb customer service.
