Very cute older hotel on the beach. The touches they've added while remodeling were super cute with a great surf theme everywhere. Staff was wonderful, great coffee shop in the lobby. Beach/pool/bar staff were friendly. Beach was clean and nice.

Great location but needs TLC

Overall, the Plunge needs some remodeling. The halls need paint and new carpet. Our bed was very comfortable and the sheets/towels were all good. The room furnishings were old and needed updating. Our room was clean and the shower worked fine. The breakfast food was very good and the morning staff (Bianca and Angel) were friendly and fun. The pool and pool bar were very nice. When we booked we were told parking was free, but we were charged $25/day. We loved being right on the beach and a short walk to fun bars & Restaurants at Lauderdale-By-The Sea.

Convenient area. Staff friendly. Special mention of thanks to Lynn and Sergio in Backflips. Awesome people. Only thing could be better is adding a small microwave to the room to at least warm up coffee or the doggie bag of my expensive dinner I could not finish. Also wonder why just one chair and one luggage rack in the room for two people.

As always, the Plunge didn’t disappoint! The staff is always super helpful, especially Suzette at the front desk who has been there a few years and it the absolute best, going above and beyond for guests at check-in, or really helping with anything needed during out stay! The bungalow rooms are my new favorite rooms! The Plunge is always a good idea!
