This was my third stay at the plunge. The staff and customer service was topnotch. This was my only saving grace ... this time around. Unfortunately, management did not have a process in place to help manage the large amount of families with children there for sporting competitions. The children went unsupervised causing disruptions to other guests who were trying to enjoy the amenities, meals at the hotel or just trying to get to their rooms. Due to the holiday weekend, the hotel was very crowded. There was an altercation at the pool that resulted in management shutting it down, the guests asked to leave and the authorities to be called to the scene. This started because children were left unsupervised running around knocking and pushing guests.

The property was good overall. The beach is beautiful and we loved that there was food and beverage service right on the beach! It is a very walkable area with lots of dining and shopping options. The staff were very friendly although the housekeeping in our room was a lacking. Also, it is an older hotel that is getting a "refresh" this summer which will definitely improve the look of the hotel.

We like the location. We were not pleased with the oceanfront first floor room as there were so many weeds, etc. growing your view is not much. We would have preferred to have been on a higher floor. There was a big stain on the bed (gross). Some of the sheets had stains also. We decided not to change rooms because we had already put everything away. However, the bed stain was bad enough that the room should not have been rented until it was fixed or replaced. The employees at this hotel are very nice. However, we will likely try another hotel next time.
