The hotel was near the water taxis and restaurants. The hotel is old, but some rooms have been upgraded. We stayed in a regular King Size Room (floor 3 inside the original hotel). The room was small with little space -- but the bathroom shower had been updated. The elevators are really small. They only fit 2 people and 2 large suitcases. The pool area was run down. It is best to use Uber or Lyft to travel to and from the hotel. The hotel does not offer a shuttle. We will not stay at the Riverside Hotel again. We were at the hotel one night before a cruise.

Liked the location in the center of all the shopping and dining you could ask for and hotel restaurant was very good especially lobster night. It is a pretty long walk to beach about 45 minutes each way. Property is a bit in need of makeover and just average rooms. Gertrude in housekeeping did go out of her way to bring me medication that I left in hotel room to my next hotel I was at down by the beach before I flew home. Thanks for that.

The hotel was easily accessible to the Main Street and close to many restaurant options. We booked this as a last minute staycation and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and clean hotel. The rooms were updated with modern furniture and lighting. Cozy and great air conditioning. It’s an amazing hotel to stay at to walk the city and go bar hopping even. I highly recommend it.
