I loved everything about the hotel except that the bathroom needs storage space. There was nowhere to put my toiletries. Also an extra mirror is needed somewhere in the room because there’s only one in the bathroom which makes it impossible for two people to get ready at the same time

Honeymoon at Hotel Sheldon

Hotel Sheldon is perfectly nestled along the Hollywood Boardwalk, offering an unbeatable beachfront location. For the final night of our honeymoon, my husband and I stayed in an ocean-view king room, which was spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The view was stunning, though the windows were a bit dirty and difficult to see through when closed, and we couldn’t quite figure out how to open them, which was a little frustrating. One unexpected surprise was the lobby being under construction, which we weren’t informed about beforehand. The disarray was a bit jarring, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Despite that, we would absolutely stay here again for the incredible beach access, complimentary chairs and towels, and the comfort of our room. We look forward to returning in the future and seeing the completed renovations, which will hopefully enhance the overall first impression of the hotel.

2nd stay. We got the balcony room this time. Hotel was under some renovations so I won’t take any of that into account. Was very clean and convenient to everything on the Broadwalk. Rooms were great but our sliding door would get stuck at times. If you are looking for a resort type place this is not it. If you are looking for a nice, clean hotel close to everything this is definitely it. A great place to stay!!

VERY DISAPPOINTED PLACE WAS A DISASTER

The lobby was completely torn apart for remodeling. The outdoor area was a mess with the furniture all over the place. We stay here often but I think we are looking for a different place next time to stay.

What a great little gem. We booked this property because we wanted a beach front hotel with a view from our room and walkable to coffee shops/ beach. Parking was a breeze, check in was great. The lobby isn’t anything fancy, and is undergoing some Reno’s it appears which is fine. The elevator/ hallways are blah BUT the room was wonderful. Beautiful view from our room, great size tv, good shower, clean. The beach chairs and umbrella, and coffee machine in the room were a wonderful surprise. I recommend this to anyone not looking for anything fancy but wants to be close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops. We walked the whole boardwalk. It was wonderful. Great value hotel. No amenities but wonderfully clean and welcoming.

Great Place to stay!!

Amazing location, newly renovated, spacious and clean room, great amenities such as coffee maker, microwave, fridge and safe! Patricia, staff at the reception desk, was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Hotel Sheldon.
