Lovely sized family suite. Hotel is modern downstairs but rooms were a little dated. Bed was lovely room was perfect for our family. And great value for money.

Small room in an old building with vue of a church, 5 minutes walking from train station or historic downtown.

Nice good for 1 night

We had an excellent stay at Aparthotel Adagio Lille Centre Grand Place in August 2026. We received a friendly welcome on arrival. The room was clean and well equiped for the stay that we had planned. At the time there was something of a heatwave in Europe and the room's air conditioning was both effective and quiet, for which we were grateful. We didn't breakfast at the Aparthotel, although the breakfast room looked very clean bright and welcoming. The Aparthotel is well situated for a tourist visiting Lille. The Palais des Beaux-Arts, Grand Place and old town are all within easy walking distance, as are an excellent range of restaurants and bars. We walked from and to the railway stations to the Aparthotel on a couple of occasions (both Lille Europe and Lille Flandres), if you do this allow yourself about 20 minutes. You could do the journey by metro very easily. There is a reasonably sized Intermarche supermarket around the corner from the hotel, so it is easy to stock up for self catering, but don't miss out on other shops selling specialist goods, e.g. the boulangerie Maison Papillon which is also just around the corner.

We stayed for one night on our way back to Calais. We had a lovely junior suite which had a huge comfy bed and an additional seating area. Hotel was very well located for central Arras and a 10 minute walk to the Squares and its side streets. There was lots of local restaurants and bars in the area, as well as local shops. Unfortunately we stayed Saturday night so as is common in France, very little was open on the Sunday morning when we had time to look around. The hotel itself was lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was very very hot, especially on the second floor, but they had provided a lovely big fan which was very welcome. On our arrival, there was only one staff member who seemed to be running the entire hotel- checking in new guests, organising parking for a group of bikers who arrived just after us, dealing with existing guests, answering the phone/gate, and serving at the bar. While he was lovely, helpful and cannot fault him or his professionalism, this meant that he was not able to give as much attention to existing guests. We had hoped for a drink in the bar, but he was dealing with so many things we felt we couldn't bother him. Lovely breakfast with a range of options from cold meats, pastries, cooked items, toast, and fruit (and they'd increased staffing for the morning!).
