What I liked about the property: The front desk girl when we checked in. She was great! When we came down to complain about our room, she went and checked other rooms and we got to move. What I didn’t like: Lots and almost everything else. We stayed 3 nights First night. We slept good. In our changed room! Breakfast in the morning consisted of cold scrambled eggs, cold bacon, cold ham (at least that is was it resembled) and very cold and greasy hashbrowns. Coffee? I’m guessing they didn’t put grounds in the pot because it looked like colored water. The place was grossly dirty. Water bottles all over, overflowing garbage can by the coffee station, which is situated right by the front desk, so not sure why it was like that. Second day. Breakfast was at least warm, and they actually had some people fluttering around mopping and cleaning. Smelt better. Third day. Reheated eggs, and overly greasy food. Plus a huge leak in the breakfast room. A few locals mentioned how the place has gone down hill since it was purchased a while ago. I don’t recommend!!

Brought the family on a little east coast getaway and couldn't ask for a better location to return to and unwind in the evenings. Spectacular views on a peaceful cove with every accommodation you could ever need. Exceptional, absolutely loved it!

Clean and mostly quiet

Belle grande chambre bien équipée avec micro-ondes, frigo avec congélateur séparé d’une belle grandeur.

Everything was nice and the staff were nice too

Best hotel breakfast! Very clean and great staff. Had an issue with the bathroom faucet and they moved us to another room right away which was great. Perfect for short stays and only 20 min from downtown Halifax.

Friendly and helpful staff.
