Worst customer service ever
1st off Hotels.com needs to remove this from their site. Next, as we arrived to check in, the stoned front dest worker told us that our room that was booked (king bed) was not available because they didnt have housekeeping that day to clean. So he said we could have a double, which was fine so i asked if we would get sometype of didcount. No, he said I could cancel. I asked to go check the room and he wouldnt allow that. He cancellwd our room. Then my husband and I talked to 2 other guest, 1 had already had to change rooms and the other was leaving early. Lucky we did get a refund but had to go across street to the Red Roof Inn (which was fine) even though it coat us 200 more. Just save the head ache and do not ever book this hotel.

During my stay 9/28, the room was dirty. The tub leaked and had water running 24/7. There was a hole in the shower big enough to stick my thumb in. For a "non smoking" room, 2 of the 4 pillows had burn holes in them. The door barely locked. The pool was green and not usable. And to top it off, they double charged me! I paid for my room via hotels.com, but upon arrival, I was told I had to pay a $50 deposit. Then this morning, before check out I noticed my balance looked off. Once I checked it, I was charged the deposit PLUS another $37.97. When I asked at check out, I was told they charged me for a room through them even though I had booked/paid throufh hotels.com! I would not recommend to anyone and will not be staying here again.

I did not get to stay in the I booked. The manager is a jerk and does not care one bit about his customers. Online it says check in anytime that is a lie. other hotels and motels have said the the cleanliness was subpar from what other guests that stayed at the Americana have told them. when I went to get a refund I heard guest complaining about bedbugs.

Horrible Experience - Avoid at All Costs!
I had an awful experience at the Travelodge Americana Inn in Pigeon Forge. We arrived around 11 PM, only to find a line of people waiting at the front desk. The clerk appeared to be under the influence of some substance, and the hallway smelled so bad it was almost unbearable. When it was our turn, the clerk didn’t even greet us and immediately demanded our ID and credit card. During the time we were there, other guests were coming to the desk asking for clean towels and double-checking them before taking them back. That says a lot about how unsanitary this place is! When we opened the door to our room, we were horrified to see cockroaches fleeing from the doorstep. The floor was sticky, the odor was unbearable, and the beds were not made: it was as if they hadn't even bothered to clean up after the previous guests! We didn’t even dare to touch anything inside and went back to the front desk. When we reported the issue, the clerk, he couldn't care less and showed no concern, leaving us with no choice but to find another hotel at almost midnight! To make matters worse, when I asked to cancel and get a refund, he told me to “check with Expedia” (hotels.com) instead of handling it himself. When I shared my experience with the receptionist at the hotel we booked as a backup, he actually laughed and hinted that it's a well-known fact that this place is a dump. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Worst Hotel I've ever seen
The room smelled like I was actually sleeping next to the pool, not just dank but actually seemed slightly chlorinated, even though I was on the opposite side of the building from the outdoor pool. I could see light though the cracks of the door, which is maybe how the numerous cockroaches had gotten in. I did not sleep there and left within 5 minutes, and was told they could not refund me since I had booked through Hotels.com

Pictures are extremely deceiving!!! I know, the price is super affordable. Do NOT chance your vacation with this hotel. We did, and while there were no signs of bed bugs or roaches in our room. It was dirty, sheets, towels, floors, walls, bathroom, the table was broke (still functional), shower head & plug was broke (but could still bathe) wifi was constantly buffering. There was a crack under our door big enough for our toddler to stick his hand under, door key/door had to be scanned severly times before entering. Some staff was friendly, I will give them credit there. But the cons could go on.... a few postives.. Price. 7 min walk to the island and walking distance to other attractions.
