The parking lot was spacious and close enough to our entrance. Check-in went smoothly. The guest relations at check-in was polite, informative, friendly, and made sure we understood how we go to our room, how the Splash Bands work, and about food and amenities on site. The front has multiple luggage carts with brakes on them, so we didn't have to wait. At to the elevator, the manager made sure we knew where our room was and checked to see if we needed anything else. An employee held the elevator for us. The bunk house in the Cabin Suite was perfect for our 4 kids. They were comfortable and watched TV in their own space. The treasure chest was an added bonus. The lights on the vanity mirror were a huge hit to our teens. There is no coffee maker, but this room had everything that we needed (plus their peppermint mocha latté in their in-house coffee shop was great)! The room says no microwave, but there is a communal microwave on our room floor that was always clean. The king size bed was comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The two chairs made getting ready much easier. The wireless chargers for the phone gave us more room to charge our electronics. The balcony was peaceful. The Splash bands double as a key (think like Magic Bands at Disney) and are color coded for all ages. We also attended on opening weekend of Shipwreck Bay. This new indoor water resort is a 5/5 for our traveling family.

This place was beautiful and we really enjoyed it, especially our 8 year old son! The indoor water park wasn’t open when we went because it opened later that month. The outdoor water park wasn’t open at the time because it wasn’t the season for it. The only thing I would mention is make sure you’re prepared to SPEND MONEY! The room rate was excellent, but EVERYTHING you do at this resort costs EXTRA, and with there being pools, an arcade, an indoor bowling alley, an arcade, a popcorn and cookie bar, a snack bar with coffee and different offerings, a store, etc…. believe me, IT STACKS UP QUICK!! We spent a small fortune on amenities! We would definitely stay here again, and actually are already planning to go back, just wanted to prepare other parents for extra cost because we didn’t realize it before we went!

little upsetting the indoor pool wasn't open yet but understandable as it was being remodeled. the vending machines weren't working on any level. we also weren't able to purchase the souvenir cups late in the evening, so we had to drive over to the gas station for drinks. The headboards to the beds need a serious wipe down. our room could have used a serious dusting

We stayed at the penthouse. The staff was very friendly and fast service.The room was spacious and clean..my kids enjoyed some of the activities available during this holiday season. My kids enjoyed the arcade and bowling. The loved the pizza!!! Short drive to Gatlinburg and nearby things to do.. The only negative thing I would say is that the breakfast was not very good. It tastes like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a while, it did not taste fresh. Also the treats in the desserts seemed tough and old. But overall it was a good place to stay. Would definitely go back.

Stayed here during the offseason. Everything was decorated very festive and the front desk staff was very accommodating and inviting. The bedroom was perfect after a long day at the park. Did not go to the breakfast in the morning but did stop at the small coffee shop in the lobby. The pastries and coffee were really good for a great price to start the day. Would definitely stay here again when in the area. If you have kids, they will love it here!

Off season for a Waterpark proved to be quiet and beautifully tranquil. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was very responsive and great to work with any issues. The only issue was that I was in town for a professional conference and the door access key was a neon armband that did not quite go with my suit. I opted to not attach it to my person and accidentally dropped it in the trash. I texted the front desk who was VERY responsive and contacted Housekeeping not to empty the waste basket in question. The team work and response was great and I was able to retrieve the armband. Highly recommend this hotel with lots of in room amenities and activities available for families.
