Nothing like before!

I was extremely disappointed with the condition of the hotel. I stayed at this same property 3 years ago and had a much different experience. This stay the lobby, pool and room were filthy. We couldn’t swim because the chemical smell was overpowering. Not that the color of the pool water or dirty floor made us want to swim. Our room had stains and bad patch work on the walls. The carpet appeared dirty and the toilet was visibly unclean.

There was black mold on the ceiling. I reserved a junior suite and when I got there, I was informed there is no such thing as a junior suite. It smelled overwhelmingly musty. The door didn't lock. The pool heater was not in service.

Needs cleaning

First room given the toilet water was turned off. Had to change rooms second room was ok but black mold on ceiling of bath tub. Indoor pool is not heated and is too cold to swim in. Floor around pool is nasty the whole place needs a deep clean. I get it being a budget motel but needs a good clean inside and outside.

Do not!!!

Terrible. We stayed here last year with no issues besides the pool being cloudy! This year Ewh! Cockroach in the room when we finally laid down. Pool was basically titanic water. My friends room had bug shell casings in the bed and hair!!! They refunded us and had no issue like it was common.

1st room that I had reserved online had dead flies on the bed. Dead flies in the window. The air didn’t work half of the plug-ins didn’t work.. they accommodating me with three other rooms which air didn’t work in one of them. The pool was cold where it was supposed to be a heated pool. The staff was terrible terrible very rude. We had one room that had nothing but girls in it at 12 o’clock at night a maintenance man tried to enter the room, saying there was a keybroken off in door. It was a keyless entry room’

This place smelled really bad, that musty water smell… we were greeted in our room by cockroaches and there was no hot water, barely luke warm. It seems that management and workers are use to people complaining and leaving and asking for refunds, they don’t even attempt to fix the issues or even seem concerned about it.

I don’t typically go off other people’s reviews but I really wish I did this time. This place has the potential to be a very nice place. However, going in.. I knew the indoor pool had issues but the PH balance was off and my son’s skin broke out in hives. The slide, he had to scoot himself down. Our room, while using the restroom.. you watch flies come out of the vent in the bathroom. We killed a lot of flies. There is no chairs or table in the room. 2 beds, tv, microwave and a mini fridge. I most definitely will not be staying here again. It’s a great price and you pay for what you get.

Stay Away!

I received a voice mail on the way to the hotel at 10:40 pm telling me that the front desk closed at 11 and i should call upon arrival. No problem, but in that same voice mail i was told that the pool was very cold due to a gas line break, and that all third party sites were aware and notifying all guests. I didnt see anything from hotels.com telling me that the pool was cold. I should have known it was a problem with them warning me in a voice mail. We arrive, call and get checked in. There were multiple roaches in the bathroom floor, inside the tub and in the bathroom sink. The stopper for the tub was broke, and if you tried using the shower, you would be in ankle deep water. As far as the pool, that was the whole reason to go here was for my grandkids to have a pool. You would have thought it had ice in it, it was that cold. Multiple other guests at the pool said they were checking out and going elsewhere. We stayed one night and paid for 2 nights, but we left after the first night to find somewhere cleaner and that had a heated pool. It sounds like the gas line being broken is a long term problem. I cannot believe that hotels.com would offer this place as an option. And obviously no one is communicating the pool water temp until you are about ready to arrive. I would stay away from this place, it will make for a miserable visit. Never again!
