I didn’t realize I booked a petite room but other than getting around our luggage in the tight space, the room was nice, bed was comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel is close to the areas of interest and shops.

The view of lake Tekapo was spectacular. It was conveniently located to the stores for food and gift shopping. Restaurants were also nearby.
