Stained carpet, ripped sheet on one bed. Had air conditioning, but unit was very noisy. Just not nice at all for the money being paid.

Wires were strung from the ceiling to the TV and back to the ceiling. Room had two table lamps that were unplugged and no available outlets to plug them in, except in sink area. Room had a coffee maker but was unplugged - had to plug it in on the other side of the sink. It would not work without the water being full, but provided cups did not hold that amount of coffee - resulting in overflow. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Furniture was old and tired. Room was clean but smelled bad. Daylight could be seen around the air conditioner 'seal'. Window screen was bent and prevented the window from closing properly - needed to straighten so window could be closed and locked.

liked that we could be on ground level parking outside our door so no stairs to climb, liked it was next to down town and wee bistro also it was next door to a new brewery. Beds were clean and comfortable did not like the VERY squeaky bathroom door, the floor trim moldings were very old and looked dirty. it needed a total renovation and upgrade to look bright and clean.

The front desk staff treated me and the other guests like irritations… or sheep. The room was grimy. The pillows were ridiculous. This motel is conveniently located and is quite large. It was fine, but I barely slept.

Management was kind enough to accomodate requests for a portable fan and a microwavable crockery. Really appreciate that. Additionally, rooms were clean.

The gentleman at the desk was very nice, and made it an easy check-in. The room itself was okay, until we noticed stains on the quilt, towels need a good bleaching. When we had our showers, the water kept switching from warm, to cold, to hot. It clearly needs a new hot water tank. The one thing we did noticed was it's very quiet, you don't hear your neighbours. All in all, it"s an okay place to stay for a night, if you just want a place to sleep.

Very overpriced for what you get
Beds are very poor. Tv doesn’t work. 32 inch tv in a hotel room is pretty lame even if it did work. Come on!! For $207 per night for standard room I would expect a much better room. It appears that every place in Golden is gouging people but if you are paying a premium price you would expect at least a nice room. Not the case here.
