Fantastic little cabins with many fun touches all around the property. There is a communal kitchen located in a larger building that has a great assortment of cookware, plenty of large picnic tables and a handful of board/card games. There are two viewpoints, one with a bench and one with a nice hammock to enjoy the view from, and both are found at the end of very accessible trails. There is a small field with a few options like badminton, as well as some wooden workout equipment that makes for fun photos. You can borrow DVDs from the Office and there are lots to choose from, and there is also decent wifi. Overall, the cabins are great option for a family camping trip!

Really enjoyed our stay. In the forest but easy to get to not far from town Revelstoke. Big cabin room simple good accommodation. Bonus to see deer on the short drive up the gravel road to the cabins.

Mountain Serenity

We absolutely loved our 3 day stay at Mountain View Cabins. The perfect place to chill from the rat race. Met great people, enjoyed the fire pit and loved the mountain viewing points. The cabins are well equiped with basic amenities. Wifi was a real bonus and something added since we booked. Perfect for nature lovers

The only thing we like is that it’s quiet. We gathered that the staff at the property are volunteers. They were very friendly and helpful but the overall level of service fell below that of a basic lodging. We had to clean out the cups and plates in the cabin and put out the empty bottles and trash in the bin that’s several steps away. The shower curtain showed its age and its need to be washed (bottom part is already discolored). The towels and beddings were not comfortable. The property’s location is far from downtown Golden (perhaps at least 20 kms away) and there are no nearby stores/services. Perhaps we did not read the reviews, hence the property did not meet our expectations.
