Amazingly quaint and quiet. Conveniently a short walk into old downtown. Charming, updated, well done with everything a person truly needs for simple pleasures. Coffee, tea, hair dryer, puffy pillows, clean sheets, comfortable bed I’d come back here anytime. Hands down a jewel hidden in downtown Golden. I’m sad I didn’t book more nights here but will definitely be back.

Staff here are so kind! Really liked our stay! Comfortable beds, pillows and chair! Lots of space, big fridge, microwave and the tap water is absolutely amazing! We will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed here with my dog on October 1st. Super affordable compared to others in the area. Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean; linens were clean as was the appliances like the microwave and fridge. Heat worked great and the hot water was good. The motel is conveniently located and within quick distance to many great restaurants and stores. They are going through a renovation so the grounds aren't the best but it's decent for a quick stay. I loved the touch code door instead of a traditional key card. Quiet location and not a bad view. Cons: No phone in the room which could be hard if one doesn't have a cell phone. No alarm clock. Bed was hard and not the most comfortable; ok for one night. Hand soap for the sink was almost empty, dispenser for body wash in the shower was empty and the shampoo was almost empty. Flooring was coming up in some places, looked like water damage. There was black mould on one of the walls in the bathroom near the baseboards by the toilet and shower. No main public garbage to be found on the property so had to leave my dogs poop bags outside the door until the morning. Overall an ok place at an affordable rate for a quick stay with friendly staff.

Best location! Walkable to the little downtown, the bridge and 5 minute walk to grocery store and so many amazing restaurants! Staff was amazing! Looks like they continue to renovate. We loved our experience- definitely will be back.

The motel is in a convenient location with clean sheets but the room is quite outdated and run down. Lack of electrical plugs and very poor lighting in the washroom. There was a list in the room of how much it costs to replace every single item if damaged (from face cloth to mattress) which was a little off putting.

The property is in the midst of a refresh. It's about five minutes from Hwy 1 in a quiet neighborhood. Lodging in Golden is comparatively pricey, and this property is reasonably priced.

Enjoyed our stay at the Rondo Motel. Room was simple, a bit dated but tidy, roomy, and staff were great. Not much of a view from particular room, other rooms on the upper floor appeared to have some nice views, but the price was great compared to others. Located right in the Downtown core with easy access to the Riverwalk, Pubs and Restaurants. Would stay here again!
