This property has just changed hands and the new owners are making a big effort to get it in order. There were lovely comforters on the bed and the room was cheery. The taps in the tub needed new washers and someone had turned them off so hard, I had to get the man to open the cold tap for me. He was very helpful. There was very little dining within walkable distance on Wednesday evening as 2 restaurants were closed. There was only a very noisy pub nearby. I would have had to drive to find a restaurant. A town map would have been helpful. Altogether, I enjoyed my stay and slept well! I would recommend this motel to friends.

Too noisy to sleep

Check in was easy, staff was pleasant. The problem is the noise level in the room. There is no sound proofing between rooms and the floor above squeaks constantly when someone walks around. All night we could hear people coughing snoring and rolling around. The hot water in the bathroom is great but the noise it produces is like slamming a door when turning it off in another unit. The street noise was loud and black out curtains too thin to block light. Mattress was comfortable but pillows too hard and thick.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

This is a total hidden gem!!! The bed and pillows were AMAZING, room was clean and the towels were first class. Quiet even though it is roadside, the shower pressure and volume second to none. VERY welcoming front desk man, organized and friendly. I’ll be back for sure :)
