My favorite thing was the check in… The front desk employee and I can’t recall his name Miguel? Made a great recommendation for us to use an Uber instead of driving to the arena and that was a great call… Other than that great location we were near the elevator, so it was not quiet at all, but the room was nice and clean

Bad smell in thevroom
As soon as I checked in. I noticed a mildew musty smell in my room. The front desk sent housekeeping to the room. She came in and actually said musty before I could say what was wrong. She sprayed a lot of febreeze in the room. She advised the front desk who told me they would put some type of air machine when I went out to clear the air. Once I returned and turned the AC on the smell came back. There was no offer to move me to another room. I had to turn off the AC when I went to sleep in order to avoid the smell. I once again advised the front desk upon me checking out. No apology was given. He simply said I'll report this to maintenance. It was the same person I spoke to on the phone. This is my second encounter with Holiday Inn and will likely be my last.

The hotel was an older hotel. The rooms are what you would expect with an older hotel. The bathroom had a urine smell and the shower wasn’t that clean. You could hear people in the halls and jn the bathroom above or beside you while in the room.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept but not capable of accommodating customers if anything out of there control occurs. My partner and I were booked to stay during Hurricane Helene. Upon our arrival there was electricity but of course after a few hours they're was no water, electricity, food nothing. I understood it was not in there control but there was no generator and no plans if a disaster happened, we were left to basically fend for ourselves. We checked out early and found other accommodations but when asked about any type of compensation i was told it wasn't there fault a hurricane happened and nothing will be done as if i brought the hurricane with me. I have nothing against the hotel i think it's clean and beautiful i just feel they need to take a look at there policy and make changes to accommodate there guest.

Was not able to stay. The hotel didn’t have power. Not the property fault. Hotels.com told all was good but once we got there the staff was friendly and supportive We didn’t stay. Wish Hotel.com would have told us. We scrambled but was able to find another hotel.
