The hotel has a very relaxed layout, like a study floor in a library on entering. The room was dormitory style with two twins and a set of bunk beds. Perfect four our four-hour layover.

The dining room area was nicely decorated and there was nice music playing at breakfast. However, the bathroom was very small and not very clean, and the breakfast vas very average.

The Scandic Uplandia is around 10 minute walk from Upplsala railway station. The rooms are reasonably large with a good bathroom and shower.
