The room was large and had convenient places to open and store your luggage. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful with the recreation and trains. They even sent our luggage to our next hotel in another town! The food was delicious and the breakfast/service was wonderful. This is one of the best hotels in our 3 week trip!

Wonderfully hospitable service and excellent attention to detail. The owners were very kind and offered kind suggestions of things to do in the area. The location is perfect as well - right at the end of hustle and bustle of Main Street but easy walking access to everything. Also, we had stunning views of the glacier and peaks from our room! Absolutely loved this hotel!

The room was clean and tidy. Furniture a bit dated, but that is a part of the charm. Bathroom was newly renovated and super nice. The room had a lovely and spacious balcony, with a perfect view of the mountains. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull, and served the best breakfast you could ever ask for. The owners/hosts were exceptional. You were greeted as soon as you walked in the door. Everything was in order and they gave great details on room, meals and local activities. The setting is unbelievable, like all hotels in Grindelwald. Our room opened onto a spacious patio with amazing views. The room itself was fine, nothing remarkable about it. During a September visit, we would have liked to have utilized the sauna but we were told it was only open on request during the "summer months." We would have preferred to stay somewhere with more amenities such as a pool or hot tub but we had a pleasant 1-night stay here nonetheless.
