Holwerd Vacation Packages

We stayed for three nights and overall had a good experience. The hotel is in a prime Amsterdam location and has the charm of an older building, although that comes with some downsides. Our room and bathroom were extremely small and tight. The shower drain was also very slow and flooded the bathroom a couple of times. However, the front desk staff and manager were fantastic. They brought us plenty of towels, offered to personally mop up the water, and offered to move us to another room. Since we were told the drainage could be similar due to the age of the building and the other room was roughly the same size, we decided to stay. They also gave us two complimentary breakfasts, which was a very kind gesture. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and good value considering Amsterdam prices. The biggest area for improvement was housekeeping. The bed was made, but the bathroom and toilet did not seem to be properly cleaned and remained noticeably dirty. Overall, great location, excellent breakfast, and wonderful reception staff and management. The room size, drainage, and housekeeping keep it from five stars, but the staff deserve a lot of credit.

We loved this hotel. It was clean, excellent location, contemporary. The breakfast choices were amazing and I’ve never eaten so much. The restaurant next door is a must, can’t remember the name but great food. For something cheaper on the other side of hotel you can eat as many ribs as you like. The staff at the hotel were so accommodating. The only negatives are: Need more places to hang things, especially the towels Also, gym was a 10 min walk away. Great gym but gutted not on premises. We would definitely go back

Our room was very clean and comfortable, and everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a charming old building on a quiet side street.
