Definitely needs an update to building and grounds were not kept up. The building had a very strong musty smell to it even in the room. We could never get the pool doors to unlock with our keycard and then we started to not be able to get into one of the side doors with our keycard. It was very frustrating b cause we seemed to pay extra for having a pool.

Staff was friendly. Door lock was tricky. Shower was luke warm. Bathroom door was unlevel so didnt open properly. Dim lighting. Very small pillows. Hotel phone didnt work.

Upon arrival it took 40 minutes to check in. The remote control for the TV did not work. Wed morning after having breakfast the key would not open the door. Went to desk The desk made new keys twice which did not work the desk staff had to come up and change the battery on the door lock which wasted 45 minutes of our time. There is cigarette burns in the closet floor. Carpet in the room needs cleaning. The nightstand drawers are glued shot the doorstop in the back of bathroom door has lose screws it has sharp edges which cut the back of my leg. The Sink is lose faucet has no water pressure neither does the shower Elevator light is not working for 3rd floor Mattress next to window has no support it sinks in the center. The pool is full of algae and water was green. The lobby chairs are full of stains and in terrible shape

Rooms smelled stale and musty. They were clean and restocked. There was no internet, not the fault of the hotel, from a widespread outage so there was no television. Additionally without WiFi, cell reception was poor. The staff were friendly. The toilet would only flush at least an hour after the previous person had used it.

The bathroom has been updated with new fixtures and was very clean. The furnishings and carpet are old & worn out, especially the lobby which is the first impression. The staff was very nice.
