The hotel experience was medium, one of the reason for the bad review its the towel were dirty, the checking was too slow only one clerk at the front desk, and then the keys were not working properly, in total the hotel needs a make up

We checked in at 4:30pm and they said our room was not ready. We came back after 7 and then they said the room we had booked was unavailable and that they only had one bed and a pull out couch bed available. The breakfast was good but other than that the pool was freezing definitely not heated.

Not what I remembered

I remember staying at Embassy Suites on family vacations when I was younger. It was a treat for us to stay at an Embassy. The breakfasts, back then, were amazing. Buffet style, fresh fruit and veggies, delicious food. Returning now, the hotel looks the same as back in the 90s when I traveled as a kid. The hotel has not gone through much updating. The breakfast had also changed. Yes, they still had an omelette station but the rest of the breakfast area looked like a La Quinta continental breakfast.

Beware! They have a continuous problem with people breaking into cars at this property. We recently stayed here with our friends and unfortunately their car got broken into. The staff also denied that this happens routinely and even lied about it. Turns out this also happened to another couple 2 days prior. Although they have a security guard it was mentioned his hours were recently cut. This provided an inconvenience getting the car fixed and the window was not paid for by the hotel being it is an insecure lot. We were impressed how the manager dealt with it, but in general this property needs a total makeover. The rooms are really run down with head boards scratched, rust in the showers and doors chipped. In addition we found a used condom by the elevators which were broken more than once during our stay. I typically don’t write reviews but this a bad experience overall. The location is amazing being next to the galleria and with a secure parking lot or paid security guard and some updates could be better.

Our AC was broken, our room was humid and damp. The shower had a leak, and the tub did not drain. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The elevator were broken. Just overall not a great experience. The staff was very nice, the breakfast was great.

Hello Expedia, I want to say Thanks for booking me!! However, the experience at Embassy Suites by Hilton Houston Near the Galleria, was very short of a stay. I am still at a great loss with the service that we were given from the very start of me arriving. Friday started out very frustrating. Upon arrival I was allowed to check in at around 2.30 or so however I was advised that I could arrive early and would not be charged an early check-in fee so long as there were not a lot of guests checking in. After check-in I asked the reception was there a Bell-Hop, (no) so I then asked was there any more bag carts available, the gentleman stated I am not sure but in the area he pointed too, did not have anything there I stated I don't see any he then said yes it seems that other guests have gotten them and haven't returned them. I said, "Could I get one? He stated you will have to wait for one or give me a minute while he checks in this what looked like a school that was check-in when I arrived, but they had to walk away to get the remainder of rooms that was needed in order to complete their check-in. Well one became available. One that I found. So now I return to the hotel after leaving once I receive the key and drop off a few things to the room. Went to put some soft drinks into the fridge and noticed it was not w went to use the phone to call the front desk to notice that the phone line was not working either.
