Front desk staff, the hot breakfast ladies, and cleaning staff were friendly, customer service oriented, and plain wonderful. They are an asset to this property.
We love Hampton. We did not love this Hampton. Of all the Hampton hotels we've frequented, I'd say this one was the worst. Ice cold pool with no heater, hardly functioning shower, clogged toilet, crumbs on the bed were some of the negatives for our hotel stay. Compared to some of the sketchier hotels out there, I realize these problems could have been much worse, but since our previous stays are usually excellent, this was pretty disappointing for our family. If it would have been longer than a 1 night stay, I probably would have asked for a new room and maybe even some compensation for our issues, but we just got through the stay and moved on.

The room needs updated, the carpet feels sticky, the smell is moldy. And my back is broken from the bed that is DEFINITELY not Hampton quality.
Stayed one night after flying in late to Houston. This hotel is right at the mall, and a close drive to many restaurants. Was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was really good and got us ready for our long drive in the morning.
I have stayed at this property several times when visiting my kids in Houston. It's always been clean and well taken care of and the staff have always been helpful and cheerful.

Staff was nice enough to offer early check in however the only room available was a designated disabled person room which was unclean with a staunch odor of urine. In addition we were told because our stay was during a holiday that housekeeping services were not available. The entire purpose of a hotel is to facilitate the needs of guests during the entire stay regardless of a holiday or not and the rooms should be clean regardless of it being a disabled person designated room or not. People travel and utilize hotels especially during the holidays so to say the least, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
The inside of the hotel smells like mildew. The halls and the rooms smelled disgusting and like they were mopping with old mop water. Someone ordered door dash on Friday and the dasher left it outside of our room door we told the lady at the front desk that it wasn’t ours and her response was she didn’t even see the dasher come in the building with the delivery. Needless to say that food stayed in the hallway in front of our door our entire stay there. So that furthermore tells me that the hotel is not being cleaned as it should. Other than the cleanliness of it and the old mildew and mold smells it is in a great location.
Only about 5 parking spaces in front. Others were handicap. The back of hotel parking did not feel safe to me. Employee kept their personal car parked under awning all day .
The staff was not welcoming. There were 3 people behind the desk and the worker who checked me in had to be told to “check her in” .
