A Pleasant Airport Stay
This was my first time staying at the Hampton Inn and Suites at IAH. The proximity to the airport was great but of course, the planes were loud. The room was very nice but the bathroom door was a sliding, barn door type and we prefer old school doors that offer more privacy. I’m noticing this trend in hotels. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. They helped keep my travel stress and anxiety low. Thank you for a nice overnight stay Hampton!

Everyone was absolutely lovely, from front desk, to the van driver, to kitchen, to cleaning staff. There were some stains on the carpet in my room. The air conditioner really must be updated. It was so loud I couldn't hear myself think! But when I turned it off the room turned into a sauna. The coffee--dark roast--was really weak. As a coffee-drinker, good coffee is important. Breakfast was hardy, although it would've been nice to have non-pork options.

We loved the fact that they offered shuttle ride, when we called the male attendant was quite rude about it, shuttle came picked us up she was very sweet and attentive! When we went to check in male was same attitude, made you feel like we bothered him, wouldn’t let us ask questions. He would cut us off, just gave us the keys didn’t tell anything! Is not a people person… was glad to have a nice atmosphere in the morning!!! Made for a better day!!! The hotel was great, the room was awesome!!!!

Check in was easy, even though we arrived early, we got a room right away. The shuttle from the airport was a great bonus. Pros: large rooms, large excellent shower, good variety of food for breakfast, nice outdoor pool, helpful staff, close to the airport. Cons: lighting in room is very dim, as opposed to the bathroom which is lit up like a stadium. It is very far from downtown Houston itself. Staff is not knowledgeable about local restaurants.

This hotel was one of bad experience as I arrived to hotel and door room key didn’t work then had to call for staff . Then after I entered the room tv was not working and puttied to use the phone to call front desk to find out the phone is also broken. And it is almost 9 at night and nothing was fixed. Don’t recommend this hotel to anyone
