Other travelers racist
It was fine but my mixed daughter and I experienced a racist sotauation. A white man was on the elevator and when we got in he got off on our floor the fourth even though he was going down. It was obvious it was racially motivated as I am white and my daughter is mixed black and white. Very disappointing, not sure if that’s indicative of the area or what, we were visiting SHSU from Dallas area.

Clean hotel. Spacious bathroom. Well-stocked area to purchase snacks and drinks. Hot breakfast was included. Parking was free. The room doors close really hard and are quite noisy. That's my only complaint. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful.

This is a new hotel and that is a big plus as most of the hotels in this area are old and run down. It is close to highway, so there is road noise if you are on that side. You can walk to several restaurants. The gym is small but adequate. There is a guest laundry on one floor which is a very nice feature. The breakfast is good. Being on the service road, there is only one way in/out; so you have to loop around to get in every time. Overall, a good option in this area.

Everything was absolutely great. The front desk attendant was super pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great. Only thing I had an issue with was when I put the address in on apple maps it took me somewhere else for some wild reason. I had no issues finding the place though from the highway! Will def stay here again if and when the time comes!

Super clean, modern and up to date! Beds we’re comfortable with LOTS of pillows, location was safe. This place isn’t just nice on the surface it’s an all around luxury stay for a very affordable price. The extra touches like our name on the TV screen welcoming us to the room upon arrival was Perfect!
