The hotel is cute and easy to navigate. It is close to downtown Houston. Just about 6 minutes to Main Street. There's an overall lively vibe. And the staff was friendly. The bar and restaurant were not currently open, but everything else was nice. They had a good DJ on Saturday.

It was a motel!!! The internet was misleading! The area wasn’t the greatest with the homeless people around the property! There was no restaurant/bar . The staff was nice and made us feel welcome. It needs a lot of work! The outside area with the pool seems like it would be nice if everything was up and running.

I was told no kids outside after 3pm same as check in time. so I left my son home because he wouldnt be able to enjoy the pool. That ws a lie there were 4 kids in the pool til closing. Your site said there was restaurant and bar available that was not and has not been available since last month. Your site said free breakfast all they had was free coffee. Front desk said it’s expedias wrong for not updating the site.

Rating: 3.7 Check-in was seamless, and we were pleasantly surprised to recognize the hotel manager from our time living in HTX—such a friendly face to kick off our stay. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs. Our first room was super cute and exactly as described, but we ran into two issues: a shower that didn’t drain well (standing in your own shower water isn’t ideal) and, unfortunately, spotting a small roach. Not the big tree roaches you occasionally see in Texas, but the tiny ones—the kind that let you know there are more around. We stomped the first one and reported both issues to the front desk. To their credit, maintenance came quickly to fix the shower. But later that night we saw another small roach, and at that point, it was a firm nope from us. The front desk staff was very apologetic and quickly moved us to another room. From there, the rest of our stay was smooth and enjoyable. The pool area was lively, full of hotel guests, with music bumpin’ and great vibes all around. Definitely the spot if you’re looking for a good time without ever having to leave the hotel. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider coming back—but the hotel absolutely needs to address the roach issue. That’s the only thing holding this back from being an easy 5-star experience.
