The front desk staff is friendly and helpful.The rooms were clean and comfortable. However, the person taking care of breakfast should be fired. There was no coffee, no plates, no napkins, no tongs to pick up toast just to name a few things we encountered. When we asked for basic stuff from her, we obviously interrupted whatever she was watching/doing on her phone. Hopefully the property manager realizes how poorly this person represent the hotel.

I can not recommend this property currently- the room looked NOTHING like the photos. They told me they were under renovation- so I asked to be put into another room, I was told all the rooms were this way. There was no door frame on the bathroom and bathroom had exposed nails and glue sticking out- there were no table side lamps, just one big overhead lamp so if you wanted to stay awake and read while your guest went to sleep, you had to keep fluorescent overhead light on. The food at breakfast was nice and staff seemed friendly. But the rooms do not look like photos. If the rooms are under renovations then at least make guest aware. Cause I was shocked when I went into the bare room, no art, no table lamps, no door frame in bathroom- it looked bad. Having at least a disclaimer, making guest aware. Also there is no maid service. We stayed 4 nights - a maid never came in and gave fresh towels or new toiletries. So the small sample size toiletries the hotel claims it has, is only for one night, as you don’t get maid service. Again, if this was communicated it would have helped! Many hotels do not have daily maid service as some guest don’t need it/ want it- and there’s usually note inside stating this, and saying if you want daily or bi- daily maid service simply put a card outside your door. But again, I was disappointed, as I did not know there was no maid service during the length of our stay. Overall the breakfast and polite staff did not make up for the rest.

Great location for the NRG stadium, and the staff were friendly. Our bed was the comfiest that we’ve used in recent years. The breakfast options could be stopped up a bit more but the fact it’s free is good.

I booked this hotel based on close proximity to the NRG stadium for a concert - ideal as could walk to stadium. The property is old and looks as though recently been refurbished but a number of unfinished items in room - missing some of skirting, door architrave in bathroom missing, old air conditioning unit which gives room a damp/musty smell. Corridor carpet needs to be hoovered. Breakfast limited but adequate. Overall rooms, bedding and bathroom clean. It met our needs and reception staff helpful

Have stayed at this hotel multiple times and have enjoyed our stay each time. However, this visit wasn’t as good. They are undergoing changes due to new ownership. Our room had a wet carpet due to a leak in AC. Front desk wasn’t overly concerned and said maintenance would come the next day. Asked about a different room and they said they were booked solid. Our room did not have a desk, desk chair or any lamps as they had in the past. Maintenance did come the next day and fixed the AC and we were offered a different room for the second night of our stay. Hoping this is a one off experience and that things will improve.
