Our first time to Houston visiting friends and we were told that The Woodlands was one of the nicest places to stay. Upon our arrival in the evening a security guard was walking the property. That gave us a strange feeling as to why a security guard would be walking the property in a "safe" area. The beds were not comfortable for a Hyatt house.

Not worth it
Check in was ok but they don’t offer bottled water upon check in or in room. You have to buy it. The room was like being in a cave with view of outside air condition units. It was noisy. No extras at all. Room was somewhat dated..Free breakfast was a joke. When I got the final bill they also charged me $15 for self park in an average hotel parking lot and the girl at check out was rude. Only thing I will say is the location was good but for the price this was a terrible Hyatt. I would not recommend it.
