It was clean, close to everything, and the staff is friendly. But at this price point, not having any room service, counter space, side tables, or simply having to exit the room and down to a shared locker just to get towels, an iron (which might have already been picked up by someone else), or other standard room items was not a good experience.

Great hotel choice for downtown Houston

The hotel is modern and nicely well kept. The staff we interacted with were all friendly and professional. The hotel is in a convenient location because it is walking distance to many restaurants.

The Hotel itself was great but I need to point out the disappointment both my wife and I experienced with the noise coming from the attached Night Club. We stayed Friday/Saturday and Sunday nights with the noise vibrating through the building till 2am on Friday & Saturday and till midnight on the Sunday night. Being a Gold VIP member with Expedia for many years and booking countless Hotels over a number of years it is the worst noise we have experienced. We rely heavily on what is written in the Expedia summary for our bookings and there was not mention that the Hotel has a Night Club Attached. I would expect better for the loyalty shown to Expedia.

Not for a tranquil stay, but a great experience

Front desk people were friendly and helpful. The room itself is quirky and reminded me of a college apartment — nothing fancy. Essentials only. Cheap furniture. The area is EXTREMELY noisy at night, especially Friday night, but I feel like they’re prepared to mitigate it as much as possible with a good white noise machine and ear plugs. It’s a very busy, vibrant area with a noisy entertainment scene. Be prepared for that. Don’t expect a tranquil evening. I was there for a business trip and managed to get a decent night sleep with the white noise machine drowning everything out.

in the Middle of it All ;)

It was a great spot for everything and anything. Museum were close by and Astros stadium as well. No parking at the hotel, but vallet available. Will definitely book here again. Goooo Astros!!
