It was not clean at all! Even though they would “clean” every day there was an old pill, a soda bottle, some other trash under the table. We asked them to vacuum and returned and it was still there.

Staff was nice but unprofessional in the sense that bro in front had me standing for almost 15minutes while he was arguing in a call with someone. Room smelled bad(actual fecal matter) in some corners. Bathroom had a lot of mold growth and was overall dirty. I don’t know who they should fire but housekeeping was definitely not doing their job. Rooms felt unclean and overall had a bad experience. Couldn’t sleep due to room walls are paperthin and somebody had a party on the room above mine which kept me up all night. Just pay the extra 20-30$ to have a nice place and have good sleep.

Best bang for your buck

I stay in rooms more often than not and have been to most all of them. Rodeway is the best budget friendly near Hobby area. It is exceptionally hassle free. I was pleased with the quiet and safe feeling. There is no riff raff at all. It's not a high end luxury or renovated to any degree but for the price, it's well worth it. The cleanliness is good and workers are phenomenal.

We reserved this room for two nights. The air conditioning was not working as good as we hoped, despite being on the lowest setting. The room was cheqp lookong and smelled damp. There was a burn mark on the sheets and writing on the bathroom door. There was coffee packs but no coffee maker. I will likely never book here again, but if you are on a budget, this might be an option for you.
