Location very convenient to Brown Convention Center. Staff was very pleasant and valet group went over and above. Only negative was air conditioning did not work and did not know who to call. TV in main bedroom worked only part of the time

We love to stay downtown when we come to Houston. This was our first stay at Rusk House and we will definitely stay again. Price was great, room was fab, bed was comfy, curtains were dark, and location was perfect. Free coffee was a bonus.

Enjoyed my stay
The room exceeded my expectations! It really felt like a one-bedroom apartment. I also liked the free fancy coffee machine in the lobby as well as the bottled waters offered on our floor. Location seems a bit hard to find if you're catching Uber, for example. So had some difficulties with that. But otherwise it was a nice stay & in walking distance of nightlife on Main St. Also a pretty cool, reasonably priced restaurant at the hotel. I definitely plan to stay here again.

I would have enjoyed the property more if my room was clean. Each day that I stayed, I found more & more hair in different places. The room was just not properly cleaned at all. Due to it being a conference there wasn’t an option for me to change rooms. The staff is friendly and has a willingness to help. The room was just not up to par at all.
