Overall, my stay was fine, but I think the breakfast could be improved. When I visit Houston, I specifically look for hotels that offer a full complimentary breakfast. The options here felt limited juice, muffins, cereal (which I don’t eat, and I’m not sure if milk was even available), and a waffle machine. There were no eggs, sausage, bacon, or other hot items that make breakfast feel like breakfast. Instead, I ended up purchasing breakfast from Waffle House, storing it in the fridge, and reheating it in the morning since the room had a microwave. The only reason I came downstairs was to grab some apple juice.

Upon checking in, I had to go through a broken door because they were doing construction on the building. Once i was able to get by the door, i was then waiting for a receptionist to assist me with checking in. I waited maybe 15 minutes minimum, once i was checking in the clerk then told me that the elevators were out of service and they were placing us on the 3rd floor. I asked them if there was any other floors available and they said no. Even though the hotel was empty and no cars in the parking lot my whole stay. I asked to talk to the manager but was never to be found. The room was dirty, mold, and rust everywhere in the bathroom. Room was never cleaned during my stay. Very unsatisfied with my stay and they never offered to make things better.

my stay was started on 08/03/25 and lasted until 08/11/25 but not by choice but because of circumstance. Upon arrival I got to the facility 30 mins early and was informed the room wasn’t ready. I left and came back at 5pm and was told my room was still not ready; which was a lie after the guy at the desk finally admitted the elevator was broken and they were waiting on maintenance. After another 30 mins I went back in and was told the elevator was still not working and due to exhaustion i decided to just take the only other option which was the stairs mind you my room was on the third floor. The elevator was out of service from 08/03 - 08/04 and finally began working later on that night (08/04). Upon entry of the room I found BLACK MOLD on the curtains. Because I didn’t see it anywhere else at first I thought it was only there. Later on during my stay I took sick and I couldn’t figure out why. As I was fixing the bed on 08/05 found BLACK MOLD on the bed. When I reported it to the staff voicing my displeasure of this I was cut off , he stated “I don’t need all that” and asked if I simply wanted a new room. Once moved into the new room I was called and blamed for spilling juice everywhere and told it wasn’t BLACK MOLD after showing the staff proof. The staff AVOIDS customers and no one is ever at the front desk. They are very rude and nothing works properly. This facility needs a serious upgrade!!! The price they’re charging doesn’t meet the requirements of the facility.

Everything was fine and I wasn’t worried until my room number was compromised or given to someone I did not give it to! The guy claimed to be maintenance and don’t get me wrong he was really nice but I never wanted anyone to have my room number considering I’m not from there and I was alone! The outside had homeless and dogs running around which is fine for me but to some that may not be okay! It’s your job as a hotel and front desk to keep your guests safe and giving out room numbers is unacceptable. I never gave my room number but on my last day I got a call to my room from front desk that was from the guy I met in the hallway which made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable!

I would never stay at this property again check in the room I did my walk around and look up in the ceiling I seen growing mold in the bathroom ceiling I immediately took pictures and requested for another room on another floor bed as definitely uncomfortable.
