Everything was great until about 3 AM there was a group of (possibly intoxicated) guests that walked through the room hallways yelling loudly. I notified the front desk as I was checking out and their response was to ask if I called security? As if we were the only sleeping people to be woken up by this. Then they minimized by explaining that it was Valentine’s Day and there was a wedding that the hotel hosted that night. Not sure what I expected, honestly, but it felt like something I would experience and hear at a chain rather than a property that cost this much for room and dining. Other than this, the Houstonian has always been a great stay.

Really a nice experience. Beautiful grounds, stunning hotel, very clean and well appointed rooms. Staff wen out of their way to make you feel important / special. The amenities and access to an amazing pool area / club were a great bonus! Very quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend

My stay at the Houstonian was nothing less than amazing! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean, and the experience was worth every penny. The cherry on top was the cake and champagne that was waiting in my room along with a personalized birthday card. I would definitely stay here again!
