we had a beautiful time at the lodge. the staff makes this property amazing! the food was so good, they are organized and friendly. same as other reviewers as no hot water, but its so hot out that a cool shower feels amazing!

We had the best time at Ikam! It exceeded our expectations. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We saw lots of wildlife. The rooms were very nice and clean. A/C and WIFI worked great (WIFI was a little spotty in the rooms). The pool was clean and nice. The food was amazing. Highly recommended for families.

Staff was helpful Otherwise nothing was amazing. Room was not too clean, food was okayish, no choice was given.

This hotel lists their location as downtown Puerto Maldonado. Actual location is 20+ minutes outside the town on a dirt road. Impossible to get taxi service to town. The additional trips for food for our Amazon excursions cost 60 soles each way. Driver said price is higher since you have long trip just to pickup client. Resort wanted to charge me for Dinner and Breakfast when my reservation stated both were included. Staff at resort were nice and understood our frustration with situation. When originally checking in they did not know we were coming and had to contact someone to determine if we could have a room. If you want an Amazon adventure they are probably a good place to visit, but for an overnight stay, double check the location of the actual property.
