I’ve stayed here a few times in the past and it was always a good experience… this trip was not great. We got in late at night and got a room that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. There was dust and cobwebs and stains in the toilet. The state of the room was exacerbated by the amount of spiders we found in the room. As someone who is scared of spiders I hit my last straw when a massive one appeared out of nowhere Saturday evening. To the hotels credit, when I asked for a new room they did provide us with one which was much better and actually clean. The hotel itself is looking worse for wear and in desperate need of a refresh… I don’t think I would stay here again

One of the nicest resorts we’ve ever stayed in. Our bedroom suite was superb. Our stay from accommodations to dining to cocktails could not have been better. Super clean and quiet and lacking no comforts.

Overall, really liked the room assigned, and the in room and dining room staff and service. Food in the dining room and patio was excellent!! Rooms could be made a little brighter as it was very dark (lightbulbs out), and also the streaming service did not work on the TV even though the staff tried. the bedroom hallways certainly need refurbishment. Overall, though, I'd go back anytime! Many thanks to the GM and Staff!!

Rooms really need a refreshing. Stains on all carpeting, room's and hallways. Furniture is chipped and damaged. Lamps, all of them, physically broken. Plumbing and toilets sometimes flush. If your room is next to a stairwell, you will hear everything. Staffing was reduced, maybe due to it being September? I was informed that I couldn't be moved as the resort was completely booked for the week. After this experience, I won't stay here again unless compensated or situated in a newly renovated room if that ever happens!

Underground room had bad internet. There was no computer desk in the room so got back pain working on those old tables. Front desk staff wasn’t friendly. Gym facilities were not good for this size and price of a hotel. No breakfast included. Hard to find parking spot, it was very busy.

Bathroom mirror did not work. The TVs are older. Pool Lights do not work. However, the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness the staff did make up for those things. Pool and hot tub were awesome and I have to say the black makeup towel was awesome. I normally bring my own. Suite size was awesome! Kitchen awesome!

When we arrived I double checked to ensure the room had a walking style shower as suggested, due to mobility concerns. It did not. I had to pay a steep upgrade to have one. (Safety for an elder.) The initial room was not clean. We needed to keep our shoes on. This was after having to come back to the resort as the room was not ready yet. The room was weathered (showing its age and misuse.) Unfortunately, the room beside us had two dogs. The owners left them unattended and would not answer phone calls made by staff. Dogs were barking for hours. Other occupants from other rooms started banging on the floor and wall. This did not help. Saving grace, night shift moved us to the only available room they had. This room was not as worn, quiet, and was very clean. Staff were friendly. I don’t think we will stay again.

The restaurant was understaffed and the facility was dirty. There was food on the window sills. I think the restaurant manager is to blame for this. Unrelated but I could have saved over $85 if I had booked directly with the hotel vs booking with Expedia! So much for a service like this.

It feels and looks like it needs an upgrade. They could not inform when our room would be ready. Kept saying 4 pm is the check-in time. Restaurant closed for lunch, pool bar only offered chips and chocolate bars. At breakfast they only had one person and a trainee to serve the full restaurant

Well worth a stay.

Loved this place. My dog loved it too. Had a little gift bag for the dog. Wish I had booked longer. Young English girl in breakfast restaurant. was fantastic and offered a great service, attentive and polite.

Staff were friendly. Lighting in rooms was poor. Carpet in hallway on second level was quite stained in places. Needed a good carpet cleaning. Furniture in room was scuffed and dated. Would be nice to see complementary coffee in front lobby in the morning, rather than water.
