My fault I didn't check the fine print, but there's a 50.00 a day pet fee. For a hotel like this, that is high. Also, they make you sign a formal document of sorts at check in, saying you agree to a 250.00 charge if you leave your pet alone and there's noise, ???? Well this happened. Because it was January in Ithaca and the holiday, no restaurants were nearby. I was finishing up downtown eating, and the manager called me, she was RUDE and threatening and in elevated voice, stated, IS there someone in the Room?!, I was shocked by this, and at one point she said: " Are we on the same page" about the 250.00 fee. I was on a road trip, and the next two hotels I stayed at, because of this horrible experience, I asked at the front desk "What if my dog starts barking?" At the Hyatt House in Westchester, and the Comfort Inn in Cambridge Md, they all stated, "dogs bark", and if there is/are complaints, we'll move you to another room. I was so relieved. It seems like Country Inn has a scam going- They're trying to make a buck. It was a HORRIBLE experience to stay there with my dog. Just don't allow pets if there's going to be all of these "restrictions" I also asked the "concierge", if that's what you want to call them, they're contract employees, about mailing some letters, this person barely looked at me and just said "outside, find a mailbox outside" The manager that was the rudest was working on Sat, 1/3. I plan to call Radisson's home office about all this.
