The staff were very friendly and accommodating but things kept going wrong. As soon as we walked in, the fire department was being called by a guest because they smelled smoke, which we also smelled and continued to get worse. At first, we couldn't get into our room because the key card didn't work, then when we finally got into our room, it was 1 bed instead of 2(which is what we paid for) so we had to go back downstairs to get a new room. The room itself was standard, no complaints or compliments about it. Then the next morning, we again had an issue with our key card not working. Thankfully the staff were nice otherwise it would have been an entirely unpleasant stay.

When I got home and saw my credit card bill, I saw that I was charged twice for the same room. The second charge came a few hours after the original. So I wondered what was going on. When I called the hotel, they said that there was nothing that they could do and that I should call the booking company Hotels.com. After this run around and getting no help, it was a call to my credit card company that was able to sort it out, but that took a few months to finalize. Otherwise, the place was nice and clean and had a very good breakfast.

The staff was truly above and beyond. The breakfast was very good. The room was cleaned appropriately but the hotel could use a refresh. There were a lot of stains on the ceiling and carpet and the shower floor looked like it was cleaned but was stained black from mildew which is unacceptable.
