It is only 0.7miles from the Buttermilk Falls State Park. I don’t like the hotel is on a mountain and the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Saturday. It’s too remote from downtown (11 minutes drive). The roof is being replaced right now. It’s noisy during the daytime.

This was a lovely place to stay while we visited the area. The room was enormous and well-appointed. We had a few issues: heat in bathroom was not functioning, drapes did not close, bathroom night light did not work. When we notified the front desk, they sent maintenance the next day: the bathroom heat was fixed, one set of drapes was fixed but not the other, night light was not replaced. We didn’t bother complaining because we left early the next morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spa was a nice feature.
