"Very close to train station -30 second walk. But also very quiet no train noise. This is a modern hotel that was a joy to stay in. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if ever in Kakunodate again. Check in is unmanned so you need your booking number and use the check in machine."

"Room given was on third floor and there was no elevator. We had to lug our luggage up 5 flights of stairs. When we ask to change to a lower floor, the manager asked to top up money to change to a room with elevator! I will avoid this Kamenoi hotel at all costs in the future!"
