Good & convenient place to stay

We used the hotel for a quick overnight stay on our way to North Carolina. The price was reasonable, and we had a large room with a comfortable bed. Use of the TV was baffling. It said YouTube was "not available", and it wasn't clear how to find channels to watch something. The breakfast buffet was good and the sitting area very nice.

Always a good stay at this Comfort Inn . Staff are always friendly and helpful. Always plenty of breakfast with options . 24hr coffee in lobby . Close / walkable to fast food , and Publix plaza with food options.

Matthew was a great staff worker. He greeted us as we entered...was enthusiastic about being there and took care of looking after my older dog when he waa barking. He never presented a negative issue and solved all my issues. The next day, my wife and i left an item in the room. Nora took my address and said someone would mail it the next day. All around great service. We will stay there again.

Room wasn’t cleaned properly. Refrigerator was full of disgusting mold and old food. Had to switch it out with a fridge from another room. Overall it did the trick, I won’t be staying there again. Think I’ll try the Holiday Inn next door the next time I’m in town.

Beware of billing issues. Beware of lack of management and proper training for staff. I am still trying to get my bill fixed 3 days later and have yet to hear from an owner or manager after repeated calls. Dont expect a call back either. Each time i called i was asked to call them back instead of proper customer service standards of having a manager or supervisor return my call. Very very unprofessional. Staff was left without training and it probably was the start of all the billing issues. Dirty and rundown main areas - but it is a roadside hotel so dont expect much.

Stayed for 3 days. And got 2 different answers on the pool hrs . They were very friendly. And wished that they would have changed our sheets or reliaded our towels but they never asked or did it. We had to ask for towels everytime we needed them. And had to take care of our trash cuz it was piling up in our room. But other wise it was great.

Was a 2 night overstay to attend The 65th Fernandina Shrimp Festival. The price of the room was reasonable. The motel was very clean. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating. The breakfast was good. The pool looked very inviting, but we didn’t have time to use it!

Good sleep but needs attention to cleanliness

Beds were great, variety of pillow softness. Quiet night. Dreadfully under cleaned in rm corners and overall carpet. Also smelled of covered up smoke w/ some type of spray. Towels could definitely be nicer than thin versions there. For $ 130 room rate I expected more. Most reviews indicated better than our room. Nice little pool with a few teens enjoying.

My first night was excellent. The assistant manager Monica was very helpful very kind and a pleasure to check in with the second night. I was moved to a room across from the laundry room although that was not an issue. I did have an issue with not having any hot water in the bathroom sink and the air conditioner did not work, that evening, I got back from my sister’s quite late and did not feel it was an option really to have maintenance come up to my room that late to try to get things working. I spoke with Monica in the morning and I was hoping for a discount on the second night but she said that I should have told someone when I came in at 11:30 PM. I was disappointed.
