First, if wanting to take a hot or even just warm shower, good luck. The water temperature at max was luke warm, which is probably an overstatement. The hotel has a stale scent though out, kind of like a mildew scent. The rooms are clean but one towel had green stains on it. The shower temperature and single towel discoloration could have been overlooked had that been the only issue. The biggest complaint was check out is noon but house cleaning knocked on the door at 10AM to ask if leaving today. The reservation was for a single night, so seems like this wouldn’t have to be verified by house keeping 2 hours ahead of check out. When checking in, the night front desk clerk offered a late check out of 1PM. I watched him write it down on a sheet, so it was notated for the morning clerk. Again, he offered it first and I gladly accepted since we were checking in so late. However, at 11:30AM the front desk clerk, who I’m sure was a manger if not owner of the hotel, knocked on the door to remind of us a 12PM check out. When I informed her of the late check out, she made me give her an exact time of when we’d be leaving and seemed very rude about it. At that time, we just got all our belonging together and left since being rushed out. It was a Sunday, not a holiday weekend so I highly doubt the hotel was going to be at max capacity for Sunday night. Take your money else where unless you enjoy being rushed out.

Electrical outlets need to be maintained.

Everything was fine except that many of the electrical receptacles have become loose from age and use. They need to be replaced in order to resolve his issue.

Initially I was given a room that had mold or mildew and lime stains inside the double-paned windows... in addition, there was a brown and yellow fungus growing (it was about 2 ft. long and 1.5 inches high). If you would like pictures, let me know how to send them. The staff was very courteous and apologetic; the second room they showed me had mold/mildew, but no fungus. The third (and acceptable) room had normal/clean/clear windows.

From stained sheets to previous guests hair shavings on the shower curtain, I’m not sure linens were actually swapped out between guests. The carpet was damp and smelled musty. Stayed two nights. The TV didn’t work the first night but was fixed quickly. When I returned on night two the TV wasn’t working again.

Not All Country Inn and Suite Hotels are the same

First off, the breakfast could have tasted better. Not enough food choices. Water was not hot enough to make my tea. The bed hurt our backs. Not sure why. Megan, the front desk clerk was very pleasant and accommodating. Not so for Phyllis the front desk manager. She needs more training. Overall, experience could have been better.

A Stay to Forget: Bed Bugs and Dismal Service

I recently had a troubling experience at this property that I feel compelled to share. Upon arrival, I was struck by the damp smell permeating the room, which set an unpleasant tone for my stay. It felt as though no proper ventilation or cleaning had taken place. Unfortunately, the situation deteriorated further when I discovered bed bugs. Finding these pests in our accommodation is not only unacceptable but also deeply distressing. When I approached the front desk to report the issue, I was met with a dismissive attitude from the staff member. She seemed incredulous and uninterested in addressing my concerns, which left me feeling invalidated and anxious. Instead of reassurance and support, I felt like a nuisance for bringing the problem to her attention. The noise from the nearby interstate added to my discomfort; it was incessant and disruptive, making it nearly impossible to relax or get a decent night’s sleep. The walls felt thin, allowing every sound to seep through, contributing to an overwhelming sense of unease. To make matters worse, the presence of homeless individuals wandering through the property at all hours heightened my anxiety. I constantly worried about the safety of my belongings and my vehicle. It was unsettling to feel so uneasy in a space that should have been welcoming and safe. Overall, my experience was filled with discomfort and dissatisfaction. I cannot recommend this property based on the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and safety.
