Friendliness goes a long way
Upon checking in the guy at the front counter was not pleasant at all. The drawer wouldn't stay shut. The door lock was sticking a little. Then in the morning it stopped working. If you was on the outside you could get in. But if you was inside you couldn't get out. Guy came to look at it and asked, what wrong with it, what you do to it? 1. I'm the guess not your maintenance guy. 2. When a guess tells and shows you that pushing handle up or down don't work. You done accuse them of break it. 3. Fix the drawer between the beds. It shouldn't stay open all the time. 4. Housekeeping should be resetting the password on inroom safes after every guess. So next guess can use it..

We needed a room on our way to Naples from NY. It was right off the highway, very basic, but most importantly, it was clean, quiet and comfortable and a good price with an added discount for a mid-week stay. In addition the parking lot was well lit and visible from every room. We were satisfied with our stay.

Great price but odor issue
This is an older inn but looks like they have taken care to do some cosmetic upgrades. Curtains look new. Lighting is very nice especially for reading. We had windows with screens that actually opened. Wall dispensers and in shower for soaps, etc. Beds were comfortable and clean. My major issue was the odor. It smelled like Axe cologne or similar strong chemical smell. Price was very reasonable but wouldn’t stay here again due to the odor. My lungs do not do well with strong chemical smells. Fortunately it was a one night stay.

Charge non smokers extra money
I’m a non smoker and they charged extra if you want a non smoking room. I had to get a smoker room. The bed was hard and had holes in the bed spread. The Entertainment for TV was good and clean.

Room was dirty could not book one room on Expedia so in keeper charged me $120 for a night for a nasty room base was dirty, covers had burn marks, ceiling in bathroom was coming down
