Perfect location.... but hotel needs to be updated. Rooom was very comfortable but i wish it was cleaner. Toilet and shower were not clean. There was even hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. You can tell they did not sweep because someone makeup brush was on the floor left behind.

The fold out couch was broken in our room. It was definitely inconvenient. Luckily we had an air mattress in our car. On the last morning we were there, the hallway on our floor smelled absolutely terrible. It smelled like a toilet overflowed or rotten eggs. It was getting in to the room by the time we were leaving. I mentioned both of these things to the front desk clerk. She said the smell was from the carpets and the bad weather. But there was no bad weather and the smell was brand new as of today. The breakfast was good. And so was the coffee. Unfortunately the bad out weighed the good.

We usually stay here when we visit from Savannah, but this was the second time we had a bad experience. This time, the noise in the room above us sounded like they were training horses. Constant jumping up and down was extremely loud. We called on the second night, but the noise continued. Then my wife went to the front desk and they gave us a room on the top floor. We go there to relax for a couple days, and it was anything but relaxing. After packing up and moving all our stuff, we finally had a relaxing evening. There must be some way for the management to control noisy hotel guests.

The location is great right in St John's Town Center. Room was clean and the staff was friendly. The room was reasonably priced compared to hotels in the vicinity. This is my new go to hotel when I'm in Jacksonville.

Hotel was not up to Hilton Quality. As a diamond member I travel a lot with Hilton, and this hotel is in a great location, but in need of a facelift. Beds and pillows were worn, and the whole place had a damp smell that was being covered with cleaning solution. While the lobby was nice and clean, the rooms themselves were moderately cleaned it appeared. I'd choose another hilton property in the area in the future.

We love the St John Town Center for shopping and restaurants. We also enjoy the personal touches offered by Homewood Suites. They called me a couple hours after I checked out and left the premises to let me know of a couple items I left behind in my room. One of them was my Kindle which would have been greatly missed. I was able to make arrangements to have them picked up by someone else. I appreciate their commitment to taking care of their guest!

My stay in JAX

It was great! Room was relatively clean and i was not bothered. My only issue was the shower curtain. It needs to be replaced or wash. I am guessing form multiple use and being constantly wet and not drying properly, the whole bathroom was giving off a real moldy smell. It was the shower curtain most definitely. I had to keep the door close the whole time to contain it. Beside that, it was great! The front desk employees were so nice and accommodating.

Convenient Great Option near UNF in JAX

Great staff that was extremely helpful. Exceptionally good breakfast (included) for this level of hotel. The room was a little dated and the bathroom needed some work. The fitness center was decent (good quality equipment), but tiny. Good parking and great location proximal to lots of shops and restaurants. Try the nearby Escape Room in Town Center- amazing.
