Housekeeping lacking

The front desk staff was amazing but I cannot say the same about our room. There were 2 wet, used pool towels hung on the back of the bathroom door, a hair tie hanging on the door stop, and when I opened the curtain to let some light in, there was a dirty balled up sock on the window sill.

Service was amazing. Everyone was so personable, from check in, kitchen/cooking/breakfast attendants, housekeeping, to check out they all were so kind. Our only negative for our stay was the pullout bed still had all the used bedding, sheets, and covers on it from previous guests. So possibly just an out of sight out of mind kinda thing, but just something to double check for when turning the room for next guest. Overall would stay again most definitely.

I booked a room here for a quick stay to get rest for a long drive ahead for the next day. I was supposed to arrive around 1130. However my flight in to JAX was delayed 3 hours at the point of origin. I arrived at 330 am. The concierge was friendly and aware of my late arrival. I was reserved a king size room. Turns out it was on the first floor, I didnt mind due to the exhaustion of my trip. Upon entering my room it was cold which was nice but the entire room smelled really musty like it had flooded and was not attented to correctly or at all. I stayed for about 6 hours and checked out around 930-10 am. Im not sure about any other rooms or areas of the hotel, so i can't really leave a great or bad review.

The shower could not be turned on without getting sprayed. There should be access to turn the water on without being in the shower. Toilet seat needed tightened. Overall a good place just small design flaws.

While the hotel room was incredible it wasn’t worth the stay. The late night front desk staff was rude. Valet was often unavailable. Pool was very small and not convenient for adults of couples. Would only recommend to families as the pool area had no staff and parents allowing their kids to play with balls and water toys that kept hitting us, getting us wet and knocking over our beverages. Amenities here are disappointing. The beach is nice but not with the overall stay
