I went here for a work related conference, so I could not use the amenities. Nonetheless, we were charged for the amenities. our suite was a mile away from the hotel where I was supposed to have the conference. Group one and we didn’t have much options for restaurants. One nice thing about where we stayed, it had a kitchen So we could cook our own food.

Omni Amelia is a beautiful magical property. My family and friends had a wonderful time. We had special moments together and little individual experiences we will remember for a lifetime. Every time I texted the staff for anything they fixed it immediately. Tope tier even while they were cleaning up from the storm.

Surprise!
The villas are a smaller portion of the much larger Omni Resort of Amelia Island. When I found the listing on Hotels. Com the impression I got was that it was a multi-unit hotel facility with some villa type accommodations. I did not realize that it would be so grand. In truth it is very impressive and nice accommodations, but one reason I booked it was because of the swimming pool and hot tub availability for guests. We did have a pool just outside of our villa and we did try it, but it was too cool to use for any length of time in 80 degree temps. The hot tub was apparently part of the spa/fitness center a while ride away and for an extra fee. More importantly my spouse and I are both mobility challenged, and to access our villa we had to use several steps. Our note to the managers on the hotels.com booking site was apparently ignored. All in all we did enjoy our stay here, but next time we are in Amelia Island, we will more likely stay in a VRBO booking or a traditional hotel.

We have been visiting this property for the past decade. The entire property is a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is very safe, the area is very walkable or easy to get around on the golf carts.
