Spend the day relaxing at the beach, practicing your swing on The Villas of Amelia Island's golf course, or pampering yourself at the full-service spa. Then enjoy a meal at one of the vacation home's 9 restaurants. All homes are individually decorated and offer free WiFi and free local calls. For a bit of entertainment, guests will find flat-screen TVs with cable channels, and other amenities include furnished balconies and premium bedding. Housekeeping is available on request.
The Villas of Amelia Island offers 350 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature safes and coffee/tea makers. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Beds feature premium bedding. Flat-screen televisions come with premium cable channels. I loved how many food options there were. We ate at a different restaurant each day. They had everything you needed at the resort. You do not have to leave the resort for anything.

Overall nice stay

Overall, the stay was very good with a spacious, well appointed unit. However, a couple of items were in disrepair. The upper deck door did not lock properly. It was fixed once but we could not get it locked again and that was an uncomfortable feeling. The outside walls needed to be pressured washed as there was green mildew/algae on the walls, the shower had a thick layer of soap scum and the downstairs wall had either bugs or termites at the crevices. It was otherwise a comfortable unit but the door especially was a bummer. Also, it would be nice at check in if they explained the beach towels for the villa is at the towel stand on the beach where rentable items are located as well. The overall Omni resort land was sprawling with nice amenities.

Did not get the villa I booked, no cooking area or even a microwave, lost food due to this. No area to buy a cold drink near villa. Dirty room, handprints on ceiling and walls, hair in bathroom, floor dirty, balcony furniture dirty, dresser full of handprints and scum. Not enough towels. No room service to villa. Very loud family next door disrupted our sleep. Given wrong directions by front desk staff, ended up back outside the property and had to wait in line again for over 20 minutes to gain reentry. Hard to communicate with front desk staff and did not receive check out email, had to call front desk. Very disappointed as this was a birthday gift that was ruined.

Clean room, quiet building. Beautiful view of the ocean. Nice selection of restaurants on property, with transportation provided. Recommend booking beach chairs/umbrellas in advance. That was the only surprise- ended up having to rent from local private company.

Everything was lovely except the cigarette smokers somewhere near our condo made sitting on the patio difficult and cigarette smoke coming into the bedroom. I would definitely make this a smoke free property.

The resort was amazing but the villa that I stayed at had some issues, especially without having housekeeping throughout the stay. None of the bsthroom doors were aligned to be locked. We were only supplied 1 roll of toilet paper for each of the three bathrooms. Certain lights did not work and we found gsrbage behind the dressers in the bedrooms. I suggest to stay at the hotel if possible and not pay the high amount for the villa. Again the resort outside the villa was amazing and i highly recomment.

Very large complex, something between a hotel and an Air B&B. You have acess to the hotel amenities but are in a separate location, everything is assessable via yheir tram.
