Great budget hotel is you are planning to visit NYC on a budget and not necessarily planning to spend time indoor. Very convenient shuttle bus to Port Authority. Staff is always available to help amd are very pleasant. This is our second time staying at this hotel and will be staying again during next visit. The rooms in the adjacent building are nice but going up those stairs could be challenging and a bit dangerous. Parking is great and complimentary. IMO, this is one of the best hotels if you are visiting NYC. Average neighborhood common sense precautions of course in the area.

We booked very last minute after checking the reviews of the place we were supposed to stay at and being horrified. Super 8 was affordable, in a great location - and clean. Thank the lord lol

There was nothing to like really. This place is for a 1 night stay. Nothing more! If all the beds there were like the one I slept on, these people are highway robbers, but I guess for some, it works. To each his own. The bed had a huge piece of metal under for the bed frame. Every movement was like a big noisy, screeching piece of metal. In addition it was extremely noisy around because of the constant traffic. There's just so much, I won't bother. Just know that I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

A shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel and goes to the port authority. It is cash only and costs 3.5 per ride. The shuttle also brings you back, but double-check the availability if you plan to return at late hours. Affordable and the best location I was able to find for a last-minute trip. The housekeeping staff were friendly, one time I couldn't open the door with my key and they helped me. The towel could be stained with hair inside. The back was facing a highway so could be noisy.

The bathroom toilet had a weird way of gushing water out of the toilet whenever someone on the opposite room flushed their toilet, you would run the risk of having water splash you if you were using the toilet. To the staffs credit they immediately moved me rooms as soon as I mentioned this. Staff is A , made me feel comfortable and welcomed at all times.

Basic no thrills, good stay
Little hard to get too. On a hill, my Uber driver’s gps took him three tries to find it. Check in was easy, do not forget the damage deposit is due at check in, I paid cash and had no issues was given back at check out, room was nice, no issues. Cozy bed was comfortable. Ordered Uber eats driver had no issues finding my room. Breakfast was ok coffee and bagels. Overall a good choice for those on a budget. Nothing fancy, the basics. Would stay here again.

Clean, lit up well outside, easy shuttle into NYC, perfect if you’re not expecting a fancy place to sleep. Not much else in the area. 24 IHOP up the hill and a Starbucks. Ideal for those wanting to be in Manhattan but can’t afford to stay in the city. $3 -35 min shuttle ride to Times Square every 15 minutes

Stayed for two nights and will never go there again. Don't get fooled by the price, if it seems a little bit cheaper than others in the vicinity, it doesn't worth it. The room door wasn't sealed. I needed to push towel into the gap and stack luggage behind it to feel safer and to prevent cold air coming in. Shower was filthy and water pressure was very low. Took us forever to take a shower, every time. The area wasn't looking safe for walk. And the shuttle mentioned in the description is not Motel's shuttle. It is a 3rd party service for all NJ residents to go to NYC. It is scarce in rush hour and it keeps you waiting until all seats are taken out of rush hour time. It just wastes your time. And there is no return shuttle, you have to take a NJT bus. The staff charged my card for the deposit, instead of authorize and hold. Which costed me transaction fee. Never had happened to me before. Last but not least, the breakfast: it is a joke. Awful coffee, some bagel and a jar of jam for all the guests. Really disrespectful. I will never come back there and don't recommend it at all.

Bed was comfortable when we climbed up on to it. 1 luggage rack, 1chair and the bed was too HIGH to sit on. Very poorly furnished room lots of wasted space. Pillows were sub standard. I could put my foot under the gap in the front door. Flood lighting in the carpark shone under the door and around curtains. Breakfast was a joke. Maybe the owners and managers should try their product . Bath towels were tiny.

This is a fine motel, location is great being 5 min max from the Lincoln tunnel. This comes with the noise of traffic. The motel was good, clean and tidy. A little dated and some pieces could use a repair, but we enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast was coffee, bagels and juice, perfect for an easy start of the day. There is also a Starbucks and an Aldi 2 min walk from the motel. The provate bus service stops in front. Pay 3.50 pp and get dropped off at 42nd street, 2 blocks down from Times square. Very convenient! Parking was wonderful. All and all a good budget friendly option to visit NYC!

It is an affordable option for a quick getaway to see New York city. The rooms were clean and linens were changed. The shuttle service to the city makes commute very easy. Even though the property itself is quite damaged and the walls are super thin, most of these things were manageable. The one thing that brought my rating down from 4 to 3 is lack of drinking water. The only way out was to buy water bottles from the vending machines which also ran out. We had to find another vending machine in a different part of the property. If the staff arranges for a water filter on every floor, this will become a good motel option near the city.
