Run down and Slummy.

We stayed in a room where the floor was not clean and always had to keep our footwear on. The pictures do not resemble the true rooms. The room was outdated and not taken care of. I remember when Howard Johnson's meant class and cleanliness. Will never stay in a HJ again.

Good location. Sink and bath tub needs replacement. Cleaners didnt do good job in cleaning the room. We got lots of tick bites.

I don't like giving low ratings; however, the photos of this motel were deceiving. The place was run-down and there is ant nest inside the wall which made my family uncomfortable to sleep and move around. Furnitures were old and lamps were wobbly. We didn't even bother taking the complimentary breakfast also slept without pillows and blankets because we weren't sure how old and clean they were. Nevertheless, the front desk staffs were polite and pleasant.

The property was quite old and in poor condition, with a noticeable cannabis and weed smell even inside the room. The only positive aspect was the staff, who were approachable and welcoming.
