The hotel is older and perhaps the outside and common areas are looking a little tired but the room was very clean, updated, roomy and very comfortable. They staff was friendly and the continental breakfast had a great variety, would definitely stay again.

Friendly staff and a very nice clean room. Centrally, located close to most things in town. The continental breakfast had a good waffle and coffee. The dryer was broken in the laundry room, but there's laundromats in town.

Good value, nice river and hill view from room. Reception was great. Very easy check in and out. On our way back home from Victoria, we stayed for night rest. With in the price limit they offer also breakfast which is really appreciating.

We opted for the junior suite- it came with a large balcony but no window and no screen door on the balcony. This meant we couldn't get any airflow. Also at night insanely bright flourescent lights turn on the balcony and even with the blackout curtains it was light inside our room. We only had one towel in the room when we arrived but the nice lady at the front desk quickly got us more. It was a fine hotel but expected much more for the price we paid

It doesn’t matter how nice or dumpy a motel is I always check for bugs. I found several bugs in my room with a simple mattress lift as did my travel companion in their room. I chose not to stay. They would not give a refund of any kind.
