Oasis hotel in Cache Creek
Old and very poorly maintained. Hall carpet badly stained and room carpet dirty. No outlets to plug in microwave or coffee maker. No heat in room, radiator heat off and cold outside. Owner was the manager and brought first a broken space heater then a barely working useless heater. Luckily I had my own in the car and had to use it. Room door locks were the handle you push in to lock (like a bathroom in your home) but not tight when closed. Cheaper and better looking hotels very close by. Dog friendly but wouldn't stay again.

Oasis Hotel Cache Creek is very helpful
Proprietor very helpful. Carried our bags up the stairs and offered to be called in the morning for our early departure to bring them down. He helped us top up our oil in our vehicle. Very nice!!!

Worth the money
The hotel was close to all amenities. There was a fridge. It was quiet. The internet was a bit spotty but for the price we felt it was worth the money. The lady "christine" who helped us to our room was very nice and accommodating.

No one at the desk when I arrived, the bartender in the pub doubles as the desk clerk but no signs to tell you that, I had to wander around till I found someone. The building is so run down I checked the room first before signing in and it was Ok with a new bathroom but the general condition of hallways etc. is very poor.

The name says it all
The staff were very friendly and helpful to me. The hotel is still undergoing renovations, but the room I stayed in was great, very clean and spacious. An amazing price for a clean room, comfortable bed, tv, wifi, fridge, microwave, hot shower,etc. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Thanks for a great stay!

The entry and hallways are very worn and old smelling. Staff were very helpful. The toilet handle broke on our first use and staff were very apologetic. Room was clean and comfortable.

A Night at the Oasis
Enjoyed a night at this hotel before a fishing trip with my boys. We played pool, cards, and had a nice night with the locals at the pub in the hotel.

A Short Term Option
Despite the good service we received, this hotel is a little bit sketchy and didn't seem to have very many occupants. A viable option if you need a quick place to stay while driving through, but not somewhere to stay long term.

Don't even think about it.
Upon arrival, we had to park between two disheveled men smoking cigarettes who refused to make way for us to pass into the "lobby,” where a dog-eared note told us to go into the adjoining pub to check in. My son and I walked into a dark, stale-smelling biker bar, where the bartender told us she'd get someone to meet us in the lobby. We were met by a man who was unshaven, unkempt, and smelly. He couldn't find our reservation but assured us that finding a room wouldn't be a problem. My wife and daughter, who had been standing in the lobby, were already having serious concerns about this place, which were magnified when my son was cut by something when he sat down on the couchWe were taken upstairs, past rooms with the door knobs knocked out. The hallway smelled of stale beer, urine, and cigarette smoke. When we walked into the rooms, they were sweltering, though we were told there was air conditioning. Both rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. When I asked the man whether there were non-smoking rooms, he said that these were non-smoking rooms, but what could you do - people smoke. We didn't stay - as if everything else wasn't enough - the inability to assure a smoke-free environment sealed the departure deal. We have used hotels.com for the last two years with great success and thus could only wonder why they place is even offered. It has all the appearance and ambiance of a place that is rented by the hour.

Expedia 2 star is a tad generous
If you are looking for a 1 star, then this is the hotel for you. Complete with sloping floors, cheap paneling,outdated everything and the ever popular cigarette burns on the night stands.
