Not up to par for the price

Air conditioner sounded like it was going to blow up so noisy. Had to leave it on because it was so hot outside 35C. Toilet seat slid around on the toilet and someone of the staff randomly walked in our room in the afternoon no knocking said he wanted to check our room after he saw me coming out of it. My husband was in the room, sketchy. To top it all off I was charged $202 plus tax when the website said $182 plus tax when I booked. Only really good part was the Chinese food at the on site restaurant.

Bland looking motel (sic) with a good night sleep. The hotel is in a area filled with fancier hotels. It doesn't have much eye appeal but the beds were super comfy and we had a good night's sleep. Price was low compared to everyone else and it was a good value. The hotel is right off the highway and there are gas stations, a mall, and restaurants nearby. The offer a continental breakfast and the morning team does a good job keeping everything restocked and clean.

Selected this hotel because it was supposed to have a pool, however the pool is located inside the sister hotel across the parking lot, so that's not very fun or convenient. The rooms are a bit run down, peeling wall paper and bathrooms that haven't seen a renovation this side of the Y2K panic. Of the 5 hotels we stayed at on our weeklong trip this one had the worst bed and pillows by far, but at least the AC worked ok and the bathroom was large and comfortable.

I stayed in the “handicapped” room. The room itself was fine, however there were significant issues in the bathroom room. First the good, it had an accessible shower, that was even designed for a wheelchair. Sadly there was no shower curtain so naturally enough I had a flood on my hands! The bathroom fan started loud and continued that way. A lot like a jet taking off. Finally, the main door had an auto close feature which I could barely open and would be difficult for anyone travelling alone in a wheelchair.

The hotel is outdated and the kitchen didn’t have sufficient supplies, for instance, we have 4 people but only found one cup, one fork and spoon. Plus, the sofa bed did not have the bedding. Disappointing!
