We stopped here to get some rest and the room was extremely noisy. The trains run throughout the night and the hotel is literally next to the tracks. I was woken at midnight and 3am by the trains for approx 30 mins each time. It was not a restful sleep or place to stay. Unfortunately.

The staff were amazing. The accommodations were exceptional and right across from the hotel is a beautiful park lots of amenities for my kid to play in, plus the pool and longe area was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay and they gave us a complementary upgrade. It was amazing and definitely will return!

Staff was impatient at sign in. Train was loud waking me several times during the night (4 that I remember), then the cleaning staff was loud first thing in the morning including slamming doors and clomping above. When the bathroom fan came on there was a strong smell of mold/must that made us gag. Bed was comfortable. Most expensive hotel room (both rate and incidental hold) I’ve stayed in and the worst stay to date (I’ve stayed at my fair share). Do not recommend.

Beautiful hotel; very clean, friendly & very accommodating staff. Located right across from Riverside Park, which always has something entertaining happening. Kayak rentals, place to get snacks etc. Restaurants attached right to the hotel; Moxies & Shark Club; quite enjoyed & preferred the Shark Club. Many sights to see within walking distance. Pool with outdoor balcony and hot tub were the cherry on top! Can’t wait to stay again soon, absolutely love visiting Beautiful British Columbia

Loved this hotel, new and clean. Great access to beach and nearby park. Conveniently located by restaurants. Only downside was if your room faces the train it’s noisy, and frequent. They do accommodate you with white noise machines and earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Would stay again!

Very nice hotel. Great room. Lots of noise from freight trains on city view side. Got a parking ticket even though I registered our vehicle at check-in. Had to go back to the front desk and dispute. They say it will be canceled, but was an unnecessary inconvenience.

Overall we loved our stay at the Sandman Signature in Kamloops. The front desk staff was great, room was very clean, location was walkable to the river and downtown which we loved and the train wasn’t disruptive to our sleep (which was surprising considering how close it is). The dining options weren’t for us, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Will definitely stay again!
