The room was tiny and the window wouldn't stay open. The AC was a bit wonky so it was hot. Just needs a tad more attention on the curtain length so the AC doesn't get covered.

There was a bit of confusion at the check-in as to who will be charging to, otherwise l, everything seems great. The hostel gave a fresh coat of paint throughout and cleanliness have stepped tremendously.

The hostel is in a prime location for access to the downtown and beach. There is also a nice residential neighborhood to the south where you can access beaches. It's a little noisy due to the busy road outside, but if you're in a hostel you probably have some noise tolerance anyway. I would recommend this as an economical place to stay for a weekend in Kelowna.

Clean Facilities and Helpful Staff. Decent Short.

My stay at the HI was generally good, as it was just for one night. The bunk bed wasn’t very comfortable because the mattress seemed were old, and the room was quite small. The best part was the TV inside the private room, which had many channels options. The women’s washrooms were really clean, and the receptionist were friendly and helpful in giving me directions to where I wanted to go.

Staff were very helpful, especially when I asked how I could retrieve my bicycle before the 7 am open time. And, extra kudos to the people who turned in my forgotten electronic equipment, and to the staff who will hold it for me until I can return to retrieve it! Negative: very close to main noisy highway coming in from the south/west.

Great location near the city park and lakefront. Easy to use without having a car. Good access to downtown, and public transportation routes. The AC worked well. I was glad to have a single room and bathroom. It’s a hostel- Nice big kitchen and nice back patio.
